He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Douglas Presley and Evelyn Presley; his children, Douglas of Indianapolis, Marques (Taylor) of Hollywood, CA, Ralph Randolph (Tara), Daryell Williams (Peaches) and Sheron Vaughn (Walter) of Indianapolis; his siblings, Jeffrey (Tonya) of Fort Wayne, Christopher Presley of Johnson City, TN, Karen Wims (Arthur) of Fort Wayne, Susan Smith (John) of Indianapolis, Patricia Smith (Clarence) of Toledo, OH and Lisa Davis (Neal) of Fort Wayne; his siblings-in-law, Barry Moss (Elaine), Dorothy King and Jeanette Shotwell (Raphael); his grandchildren, Noah, Nikolas, Nathan, Essence, Ralph, Jabril, Jamiyah and Darryell III; his wife Emily Denise Presley; his brothers, Robert King and Emmett King; and his parents-in-law, Emery and Delilah Moss.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church (Indianapolis), Shepherd of the City Lutheran Church (Fort Wayne), or the Indiana Donor Network—organizations close to Alan's heart and reflective of his enduring values.
