He was predeceased by: his significant other Carolyn Jones; his adoptive son Charles Jones; and his parents, Albert Joseph Sr. and Bertha Lawson. He is survived by: his cousin Esther L. Sims; Lorraine Tabb, Deborah Sims, Eliza Jones (Rance) and Tara Sims. He is also survived by cousins and great cousins.
