She was predeceased by: her parents, August Macke and Lucille Macke (Bohnke); her husband Harry Lee Benecke; her brother Donald Macke; and her daughter-in-law Diane Benecke.
She is survived by: her son Tim Benecke of Crossville, Tennessee..
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
