She was predeceased by: her parents, John Caruso and Helen Caruso (DeRose); her brother Joseph Caruso; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Caruso, Robert Krudop and Jerry Connett.
She is survived by: her husband Paul E. Parnin; her children, Paul Parnin (Sheri), Maryann Ulmer (Shayne) and Michelle Hoover (Russell); her sisters, Joanne Krudop and Marianne Connett; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Hoover, Kayla Todd, Addison Atkins-Harris, Brianna Parnin, Drew Hoover, Jacob Parnin and Haley Weaver. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (4500 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
Preferred memorial may be made in Kathy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or St. Vincent dePaul Society. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
