She is survived by: her brothers, Franklin, James, Willie, Prentis, Lorenzo, Horace, Houston Calvin Jr., Johnnie, Jimmy and Ivory Turnage; her sons, Ernest Ray and Richard Earl Byers (Tina) of Fort Wayne, IN.; her stepdaughter Clemenstine Byers of Memphis, TN.; her siblings, Atlean Hamilton of Chicago, IL., Morease Courtney of Clinton, MD., Juanita Jennings of Fort Wayne, IN., Adolph Turnage of Fort Wayne, IN. and Irvin Turnage of Memphis, TN.; and her sisters-in-law, Eunice Adams of Indianapolis, IN., Vernice Turnage of Memphis, TN. and Juanita Turnage of Memphis, TN.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
She loved going to church and went religiously until a health pandemic prevented attendance.
