She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Schuhler and Rosella Schuhler (Vachon); her husband Richard P. Aker; her daughter Dorothy Aker; and her sister Carolyn Smitley.
She is survived by: her children, Richard A. Aker (Sherry), Michael Aker (Margi), Noreen Ormiston (John) and Roger Aker; and her sister Joan Dampman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
