She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wesche and Anna Wesche. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Burkart of Fort Wayne, IN; her sons, Bradley Burkart of Stamford, CT and Todd Burkart (Andrea) of Springboro, OH; and her grandchildren, Caterina and Joseph Burkart.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley (1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
