She was predeceased by: her parents, Smith Marie and Eddie Marie Elder (Franklin); and her brother Kenneth Elder. She is survived by: her husband Jerome D. "Jerry" Wilson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her daughter Elizabeth Marie Day (Kevin) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her grandsons, Hudson Day and Owen Day; and her siblings, Dennis Elder, Vicky Hunt (Carl) and Debra Brightwell (John).

Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to The Grandchildren's Education Fund.
