It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berdina June Stevens (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Berdina June has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ferrier and Clara Ferrier (Speck); and her husband Edwin A. Stevens Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Bullard of Fort Wayne, Judy Evancho of Fort Wayne, Margaret Stevens (Asif Samuel) of Fort Wayne and Gregory Stevens (Pamela) of Parma, Ohio; and her sister Gloria Reidt of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
