With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jewel Scott (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Irene Dunn and Dartmouth Beady. She is survived by: her husband Richard Scott; her children, Michael Scott (Ina) and Hilary Scott; and her siblings, Shirley Sills and Glen Beady (Judy). She is also survived by six grandchildren; hundreds of nieces and nephews; and thousands of friends.
