She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buchanan and Louise Buchanan (Van Cleave); the father of her children Raymond W. Thomas; and her half-sister Deanna Wilkerson. She is survived by: her significant other Danny McGlothlin of Fort Wayne; her children, Steven Thomas (Carey) of Churubusco, Cory Thomas of Fort Wayne, Jennifer Thomas of Fort Wayne and Erinn Schmidt (Jeremy) of Avilla; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Ava, Stella, Carter, Carlea, Olivia, Gionna, Sawyer, Elyse and Vivyenne; her pet Pepper; and her sister Mary L. Buchanan of Monticello.
