She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Remaklus and Alvira Remaklus (Schmidt); her husband Theodore "Ted" Hevel; her sons, Scott Hevel and Mark Hevel; her grandchildren, Thomas Strong-Hevel and Dawn Hevel; and her siblings, Anita, Ernie, Kenny and Gloria.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Hevel (Deanna) and Steve Hevel (Diahn); her daughter-in-law Diana Cox (Nancy Hevel); and her sister Jean Brown. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church (15535 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven, IN 46774). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
