She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Klopfenstein and Edith Klopfenstein (Snyder); and her brothers, Foster Klopfenstein and Calvin Klopfenstein. She is survived by: her husband Richard Schantz; her children, Dr. Bradley Schantz (Jean) and Renee Shirley (David); and her grandsons, Dr. Oliver Schantz (Caitlin), Vincent Schantz (Emily) and Nathan Shirley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
