He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy J. Cayot and Martha Cayot (Hebner); and his siblings, Harold Cayot, Eugene Cayot, Manford Cayot, Richard Cayot, Cathleen Lloyd, Ileen Kern, Mildred Springer and Marcella Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Cayot (Fairfield); his children, Rev. Marita Smith (Joseph) of Monticello, IN, James Robert Cayot (Janet) of Fort Wayne, Roy Edward Cayot (Vicky) of Marion, IL and Robert L. Cayot (Beth) of Fort Wayne; his stepsons, Bradley Wolfe (Joyce) of Fort Wayne and Russell F. Wolfe of Fort Wayne; and his siblings, Marilyn Kaltenmark of Huntington, IN, Carolyn Goebel of Marion, IN and Dale Cayot (Jane) of Lebanon, OH.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
