He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hartenstein (Berdy); his children, Tracy Newgent of Malvern, PA and Matthew Hartenstein (Robin) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Robert Newgent of Malvern, PA, Landon Hartenstein (Mackinsie) of Bluffton, Charlotte Hartenstein of Fort Wayne, Isabelle Hartenstein of Fort Wayne and Dominic Hartenstein of Fort Wayne; his great grandchild Callum Hartenstein; his siblings, Judith Lobaugh of Canfield, OH, Joan Graff of Cleveland, OH and Michael Hartenstein (Meg) of Pittsburgh, PA; and his brother-in-law Ira Kannal.
