It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Dewitt Starks Sr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Mae Conwell; his stepfather Thomas Conwell; his grandmother Lula Mae Brown; and his nephew Joseph Conwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shamyra, Jalena and Keona; his significant other Lori Chaney; his stepchildren, Michael Nash, Nicole, Darren, Bo and Danielle; his brothers, Ronald Starks (Lorraine), Anthony Conwell (Dionne), Joseph Conwell (Rochelle), Jerome Conwell (Carmen) and Aaron Conwell (Breonda); his stepbrother Teron Causey; and his sisters, Gladys Starks (George), Sandra Brantley (Wilbert) and Lashanda Conwell (Shequaya). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
