It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Hoot of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carrie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Stokan and Bobbie-Jean Stokan (Henderson); her husband Isaac Hoot; her daughters, Raina and Hanna Hoot; her brother Bob Stokan (Betsy); and her in-laws, Roger and Nancy Hoot.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel (16830 Lima Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748).
