He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fogwell and Gertrude Fogwell (Keplinger); his wife Rosemary Margaret Fogwell (Funderburg Ashenfelter); and his siblings, Merritt Fogwell, Mary Helmke, Martha Imel and Jean Hively.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Rosemary Jane Ashenfelter White (David), Tim (Tracy) and Dan Ashenfelter (Terri). He is also survived by five step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
