She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alonzo and Ruth Ada Titus Burch; and her sisters, Jennie Burch Newton and Viletta "Lettie" Winegardner. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ed" Eppele; her brother James "Big Jim" Burch (Janet); her children, Timothy Eppele, Sr. (Laudina van), Ruth Eppele Dickens (Mark Dickens), Esther Eppele (Michael Harris) and John Eppele (Katherine Willborn); her grandchildren, Timothy Eppele, Jr. (Lariisa Conaway), Kaiyalai Alexandria Indigo, Yaqub Dickens, Talitha Dickens and Charles Eppele; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Zachariah and Xander. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Eleos Hospice in Caryl's name.
