She was predeceased by : her parents, Bessie Billington Martz and Clifton Martz; her husband Michael Alexander; and her brother Douglas Martz. She is survived by : her daughters, Rachel Alexander and Andrea Smeltzer (Joseph); her granddaughters, Mikaylah and Megan Smeltzer; and her siblings, Les Martz (Patty), Brad Martz (Diana), Donna Oler (Kris) and Rand Martz (Carla).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huntington County Humane Society.
