He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl Long and June Long; and his former wife Barb Long. He is survived by: his wife Bettyann Long; and his children, Tim Long (Lisa), Annette Kinnison (Kevin), Lisa Neuman (Paul) and Shannon Layton (Jim). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel (2505 W Hamilton Rd S, Fort Wayne, IN 46814). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the South Whitley Cemetery (2505 W Hamilton Rd S, Fort Wayne, IN 46814).
