He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Childs and Dorothy Childs (Bucklew). He is survived by: his wife Donna Childs (Daudel); his children, Suzanne Childs (Betsy) of St Paul, Minnesota and Jon Childs (Sarah) of Plainfield, Illinois; his brother James Childs (Maxine) of Parkersburg; and his grandchildren, Chloe of Illinois, Jacob of Illinois and Zachary of Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
