It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alvin Francis Sr. in Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Warsaw, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his close friend Cosondra Dawn Addair; his son James David "JD" Francis (Justin Carter); and his sister Helen Marie Dixon. He is survived by: his children, Amy Diaz (Pako Porras Leon), Joshua Francis, Liberty Mills and Kayla Vance (Ernie); and his brothers, JJ Dixon Jr. (Candy), John Dixon (Crystal), Joshua Dixon and Milford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
