He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rudny and Juanita Rudny; and his half-brothers, Jim, John and Eugene McGowen.
He is survived by: his wife Marjie Rudny; his children, Anthony Rudny (Beth) and Crystal Dunfee (Scott); his granddaughter Charlotte Dunfee; his sister Cathy Beem (Rick); and his sister-in-law Sandy McGowen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 5:30 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A vigil service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Church or The American Legion.
