David L. Scheumann Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of David L. Scheumann of Fort Wayne, Indiana. David, born on August 11, 1972, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember David for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. David’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Scheumann and Rosemarie Scheumann of New Haven; and his siblings, Karen Stovall (Scheumann) of Indianapolis and Donald Scheumann of Fort Wayne.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
