He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Ruth Smith (Grible); his former wife Rebecca "Bekki" Smith (Bolinger); and his sister Cheryl Lynn Lenacher. He is survived by: his wife Jeane Smith; his children, David Paul Smith II and Lyndsey Springer (Chuck); his grandsons, Henry, Elliott and Evan; his brother Bob Smith (Lorrane); and his aunt Shirley Davie. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses payable to Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
