David Switzer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Switzer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Jo of Longmont; his stepchildren, Sarah Keller, John Keller (Cynthia) and Miriam Keller of Longmont, Colorado.; his son Matt Switzer (Nikki Switzer) of California; and his grandchildren, Elijah and Emily Switzer.
