She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hewitt and Susan Hewitt (Carpenter); and her sister Suzanne Fennig. She is survived by: her husband Mark Crain; her children, Christopher Crain, Sarah King and Rachel Maxwell-Norris; and her brother-in-law David Fennig. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
