She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Gallivan and Kathleen Gallivan (Shields); her son Michael Nelson; and her sister Linda Gallivan. She is survived by: her husband Jay M. Nelson; her children, Matthew Nelson of Fort Wayne, Katherine Locia (James) of Fort Wayne, Anne Ensley (Paul) of Fort Wayne and Maria Malhotra of Fort Wayne; and her siblings, Michelle Swanson, Patricia Greaney and Brian Gallivan.
