He is survived by: his wife Karen Hess of Fort Wayne; his daughter Jackie Fox of Fort Wayne; his siblings, Ronald R. Hess of Kendallville and Marilyn Delagrange (Robert) of Carmel, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Claymiller, Jr. of Nebraska and Kathy Herder of Utah. He is also survived by six nieces and five nephews; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
