We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 82, DeWayne Lee Doctor of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Doctor and Hazel Doctor (Roemer); his wife Judy Doctor; his son Brent Doctor; and his sister Karen Bickel.
He is survived by: his daughter Krista Esslinger (Michael) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Sarah Doctor of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sister Sharon Palmer (Stan) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his brother-in-law Lloyd Bickel of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Cora Doctor, Keegan Esslinger, Bladen Esslinger (Arianna), Mishaila Esslinger and Treyson Esslinger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (9909 Wayne Trce, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest; Worship Anew; or Lutheran Social Services.
