We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 99, Dewey C Houck Jr. (Fort Wayne, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewy C. Houck, Sr. and Blanch "Marie" Houck (Larkin); his siblings, Delores Mellinger, Gene O. Houck, Greta Guethe, Betty Beck and Laura May Hartwell; and his children, L. Bowers and Timothy D. "Tim" Houck.

He is survived by: his wife Gretta "Jo" Harmes; and his children, Thomas Houck (Cindy), Shelly Johnson and Terri Hammons (Dave). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dewey's memory may be made to Veterans Administration Attn: Voluntary Service HBPC, 2121 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805.
