It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Hasty (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Joan Hasty (Grabner); his parents, Fred Hasty and Ella Hasty (Smuts); and his siblings, Paul, Galen, Lloyd, Roy Hasty, Thelma Shively, Pauline Biddle and Ruth McVoy.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Rose Conner (Denny) of Battle Ground, Karen Annette Smith (Timothy) of Fort Wayne and Paris Lee Hasty (Beth) of Auburn; his granddaughters, Angela White, Christine Butler (Scott) and Jamie Black (James); and his stepgrandchildren, Ben Huth (Brandi) and Sara Huth. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
