She was predeceased by: her parents, Teófilo Jáuregui Torres and María Felícitas Castellanos; her husband Verne D. Marbaugh; and her siblings, Emmanuel, Jesús "Jesse", Ralph, Guadalupe "John" Jauregui and Josephine Corral.
She is survived by: her sons, Ralph Vela (Monica) of Fort Wayne, Dennis Vela (Carrie) of Leesburg, Indiana and Mark Vela (Charissa) of Fort Wayne; her granddaughter Veronica Vela of Indianapolis; her sons, Nicholas Neuhaus, Hanna Witt (Vela) of Warsaw, Heaven Courter (Honeycutt), Eden and Alani Vela of Fort Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Elianna, Liliana, Oliver, Lake, Reign, Elysian and Hayas.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
