She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kloka and Angeline Kloka (Voss); her husband Gerald G. Szymanski; her son Tom Szymanski; and her brother Chuck Kloka.
She is survived by: her children, John Szymanski (Donna), Jim Szymanski (Tina) and Mary Robinson (Michael); her grandchildren, David Novak, Rachel Davis (Michael), Brian Szymanski (Maya), Ashley Szymanski, Chris Szymanski (Mariah), Kaitlyn Pozorski (Caleb), Noah Szymanski, Elizabeth Craft (Alex), Nicolette Kinsey (Thorn), Emily Robinson and Gavin Penlend; and her sister-in-law Joni Kloka. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Her volunteer work was extensive, including contributions to Christ's Child Society, St. Joseph Hospital, and the Women's Care Center.
