We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84, Donald Eugene Smith in Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Ruth Smith; and his brothers, Joseph Paul Smith Jr. and Terry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Smith; his children, Michele Kassing (Kirk) of Churubusco, IN and Mike Smith (Michelle) of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Joshua Kassing, Zakary Kassing (Mary), Dustin Smith, Christopher Smith and Marissa Hitzfield (Brandt); and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Arthur.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodburn Christian Children's Home.
