It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Rose Wahlig of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Donna Rose farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donna Rose is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Clark; her husband Larry J. Wahlig; her mother Mildred Smoker Clark Beck (Larry); and her siblings, Bobby Smoker Clark and Betty Lou Rohrer.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Wahlig of Ft. Wayne and Nick Wahlig of Ossian; her sister Mary Ann Heiser Stinson of Ft. Wayne; and her sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Clark of Florida, Andrea Day and Audrey Buchan.
