In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Doug had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Doug may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sherman and Cathern Sherman (Springer); his niece Toni Sherman; his nephew Dexter Salway; and his brother-in-law Ken Wells.

He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Sherman (Rose), David Sherman, Donald Sherman (Joan), Carol Wells and Mary Stabler (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
