He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thornton and Sue Thornton (Keegan); and his wife Kathy Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Medina, James Feltis Jr. and Douglas Thornton Jr.; his grandchildren, Aj Hill, Brittney Hill, Jordan Lee, Courtney Medina, Brady Medina Jr., James Feltis III, Shyanne Feltis, Jessie Feltis, Douglas Thornton III, Kodey Thornton and Miranda Thornton; and his sisters, Jolinda Treace and Sheila Treace. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
