He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ward. He is survived by: his sons, Greg, David Ward and Gregory Ward (Karen); his grandchildren, Kristen (Giles), Erik, Rachel and Jared; and his great grandchild Owen (Giles).

Memorial donations may be given to The Community Harvest Food Bank in Fort Wayne.
