He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Barnes and Alma Barnes (Cooper). He is survived by: his children, Tia Fox, Eddie Barnes (Terri) and Steve Barnes (Nicki); and his brother Richard "Rick" Barnes. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
