She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Horan and Elaine Horan; her husband Stephen Walker Rutledge; her children, Bo Rutledge and Jordan Rutledge Lockwood; her children-in-law, Birgit Rutledge-Riel and Andy Lockwood; her grandchildren, Anna, Marie, Nina, Franki, Story and Bo; and her siblings, Terry Horan and Karen Horan H'Doubler.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made in her honor to the St. Anne's Randallia Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.
