As we bid Ethel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ethel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Harold and Lillian "Winnie" Luther. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Swinehart; her sons, Justin Darling (Jessica) and Jason Darling (Cheryl); her granddaughters, Justice and Joslin Darling; and her sister Karen Beland (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
