He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Evans and Irene Evans (Roy); his siblings, Gloria Mollenkopf and Gary Evans; his siblings-in-law, Alberta and Gene Melcher; and his parents-in-law, Meta and Luther Dettmer.
He is survived by: his wife Val; and his daughters, Julie Diermeier (Rick) and Joni Evans (Steve Blair). He is also survived by three grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
