He was predeceased by: his parents, Faymon McCollum Sr. and Frankie Pearl Perkins (Tyra); his sons, Jason Reid and Zachary Stewart; and his sisters, Bonnie and Geneva Reed (McCollum).
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Tyra; and his children, Fayetta Tyra, LaTonya Gosnell (William), Hope Tyra and Faymous Tyra Jr.. He is also survived by 3 step children, 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Chestnut St. Church of Christ (3601 Chestnut St, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
