He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Fial and Virginia Fial. He is survived by: his wife Karlene; his children, Geoffrey Fial of Fort Wayne, IN and Alissa Fial of Milwaukee, WI; his sister Margaret Nation of Wilmington, IL; his niece Ellen Sims; and his nephews, Richard and Jody Johnson.
