Though Flora A. may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sammetinger and Frieda Sammetinger. She is survived by: her husband James Schafenacker; her children, Ann Schafenacker, June Klinger (Michael) and David Schafenacker (Wendy); her granddaughter Robin Peshick; and her sister-in-law Ruth Sammetinger. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (1636 St Marys Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46808).
