He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Bontempo and Mary Bontempo; and his former wife Janet Bontempo. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; and his children, Julie Ward (Jeffery), Lori Schmidt (Mark), Donnie Lewis (Gina), Gregory Bontempo (Susan), Jeffrey Bontempo (Patricia) and Bryan Rorick (Candi). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and other extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Hospice or Homeless Veterans.
