He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ellenberger and Phyllis Ellenberger (Holloway); and his brother-in-law Roger Franklin. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Schuhmann (Walt), Jane Franklin, Glenn Ellenberger (Cindy) and Tammi Wallace (Terry); his pet Pete; and his close friends, Bruce and Dawn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals (6810 Old Trail Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46809).
