It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Arthur Meyer (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Arthur Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Meyer and Alvina C. Meyer (Market); and his brother Philip. He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Trahin (Robert) of Huntertown and Sara Wissler (Greg) of Fishers, Indiana; his siblings' children, Trebor Trahin of Arcola, Indiana, Angie "Star" Smith (Troy) of Woodburn, Indiana, Paul Trahin of Fishers, Mark Trahin of Huntertown and Jacob Trahin (Emily) of Fort Wayne; his great-nieces, McKenna Smith, Maggie Smith and Georgia Trahin; his great-nephew Cooper Smith; and his pet Ronnie. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639). A reception will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley (1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
